We have an exciting opportunity for two people with passion, innovation and stellar videography skills to join our creative team on a permanent or contracted basis. Tasked with creating high quality video content to be used across TV, social media, websites and other media platforms, this position is a key technical role within the team. 

About the role:

You will be responsible for producing high quality video and audio content for all digital platforms.
Working as part of a creative team, you will play an integral role in providing video production services, including managing camera, audio and lighting operations on production shoots, and delivering post production services under the direction of your project manager.
You will have demonstrated experience in pre and post production of contemporary visual story telling and commercial digital content.
This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic creative team and best suited for someone passionate about all things video. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect to the person you are filming to capture very real and authentic content.
You will need to be a self-starter who is confident managing multiple competing projects and able to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Produce high quality video content for distribution across multiple digital platforms
  • Manage technical requirements of video shoots including camera, lighting and sound
  • Post production including editing (Premier Pro), motion graphics (After effects), colour grading, media encoding and delivery
  • Support the development of the video recording suite
  • Provide technical and creative advice to support pre-production process
  • Support social media team in the production of digital assets
  • Support the effective management of the digital content library and video archives
  • Support the implementation of the digital content strategy and contribute to creativity and innovation in digital content creation
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willing to travel interstate and remote on occasion for video projects

Required skills and experience:

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Final Cut Pro
  • Significant industry experience filming video content for a wide range of audiences
  • Advanced skills in operating the latest video and DSLR camera equipment
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast paced workplace delivering high quality content within short turnarounds
  • Experience in using industry standard photo, audio and video editing software
  • Exceptional organisational skills and be able to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Relevant professional experience or tertiary qualifications in film, screen and media, communications or similar field
  • Advanced knowledge of best practice cross-media production techniques including new media ability, usability principals and delivery of content to correct specifications

Video Editor

About the role:

As the editor you will play an integral role in providing in-house video production services delivering post production services under the direction of the project manager.
This position is a full time permanent role. You will need to be a self-starter who is confident managing multiple competing projects and able to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality video content for distribution across multiple digital platforms
  • Manage technical requirements of all Post-production including editing (Adobe Premier Pro), motion graphics, colour grading, media encoding and delivery
  • Support the development and management of the Video Recording Studio
  • Provide technical and creative advice to support the pre-production process
  • Support the creative team in the production of digital design assets
  • Support the effective management of the digital content library and video archives
  • Support the implementation of all Digital Content Strategies
  • Develop strong networks and positive relationships with external contractors in the video production industries
  • Be willing to travel interstate on occasion for video production projects

Required skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience and high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Final Cut Pro and industry standard audio software
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional editing/producing role
  • Ability to work within a team and adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast paced workplace delivering high quality content within short turnarounds
  • Exceptional organisational skills and be able to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:
